Los Angeles, California, USA August 15, 2008. Among the demonstrations against the war and increasing economic uncertainty and endless Hard on the site, I would like to draw attention to works of art in the 1960s, which had an impact on my life. Remember that posters and lights shiny black day? Remember that rock art Fillmore Bills play all saved? Remember that the image of the American Tribal Love Rock Hair Musical? All this and more is still hanging in my mind as a memory a time of innocence. Drugs, sex and rock and roll were part of the most alive when the baby boomers do not be afraid to Get Stoned and attend a peace protest against the war. I always remember to protest against the Vietnam War in New York and fuzzy body running over the rocks and hills of Central Park where they were hunted by the police a Schaefer Music Festival Concert in Central Park. You can relive the whole experience go to Led Zeppelin, Edgar Winter, Johnny Winter, Black Sabbath and Grand Funk Rail Road Gigs … what we once had …. Quaaludes, benzedrine, Tuinals, Seconal. Boones Farm anyone? While most of us are clean and sober now … still much fun to remember the great days.
My memories of movement hippie resonates today more than ever to recover hair of the American Tribal Love Rock Musical Concert Free Delacorte Theater in Central Park. The message resonates more strongly with the youth and young adults in today's world, perhaps ever. When asked recently about resonance and the resurgence of this iconic symbol among young adults today, the legendary theater producer, Michael Butler, meets categorically: "No, never left the message of hair is more relevant today than its ever been. Over 11 million people saw the work, quarter of billions of euros have heard the music. In dozens of productions around the world yet. In fact, one third of all U.S. film actors United have had some association with the hair. Its been a force for good for almost four decades. "
The Age of Aquarius walking sometimes free as a bird was a time in history when we lived in the moment without concern in the world. Hair, the rock opera of all, Opened in 1968, and we all travel to the city so as to Long Island and New Jersey to participate in this community offers which gives us an idea the decade of flower children that we were all very important part. He was surprised the public for their words and purpose and nudity on stage. The original script contained a nude scene, but is not essential to the plot and individual productions may or may not choose to include it. The original script also contains racist language, which in turn may be published in today's stage.
As reported recently in USA Today New York "based trend forecasting think tanks, research trends Institute, which is approximately something unique in U.S. history, a new generation to return in time for inspiration … specifically the 1960s.
"Hair" came a new spirit embraced by the radical center – and charismatic – Joseph Papp, who in the mid-60 was added at the Public Theater in New York Shakespeare Festival's Central Park. After a brief stay in a night club called Cheetah, the show was picked up by Michael Butler, heir to a paper fortune of Chicago. I had restaged by Tom O'Horgan and ready to Broadway in 1968.
"When I look in my old posters, play bills, and flyers from concerts I've collected over the years, I have good memories of this childhood in the 60s. As a young life in Southern California, life was very pleasant. Save money to buy my latest album, go to concerts … everything was so exciting. One of my happiest memories is of seeing the touring production of the musical Hair … and still have the booklet of games. In recent years, I collected posters of hair around the world in different languages of different tribes! The best poster in my collection is a reproduction of the original 1968 Broadway opening There is something fascinating about the aura around the head photographed actors. I love the colors of this artwork that promote brotherly love and world peace ."….. Atchley Myrle States Mississippi.
There are many great artists from the 60's pop, I love Andy Warhol, John Van Hamersveld, Roy Lichtenstein, Massy and Bob. There is something very special, work and Rodriguez created Russoli hair. They knew the art of will photography. When asked by Michael Butler, with the idea of marketing these new works, they were presented to Steve Curry, one of the original actors in the production time to open Hair Broadway. The piece created April 29 at the Biltmore Theater in New York and sold every night, and ran 1750 performances. I was 16 years at West Hempstead High School when the mother of my girlfriend took us to Manhattan to attend the show.
Forty years later, I like the art hanging on the wall. Framing and hang and enjoy the art takes you through the memories and the journey of our life.
Art imitates life as we witness today's youth are leaving the hair and do what we lived in the sixties parallel with what happens in the world today.
In the Hairy Revolution.

Colin Powell is McCain's ace in the hole?
The left is all excited about Powell supporting Obama on Sunday, but what if McCain is approved and said he believes Obama is not ready? Powell is black, but no fool. There is a theory that McCain has agreed to use Rev. Wright as a favor to Powell. Powell can not be Republican, but she is certainly right of center. I do not pass a government led by Obama / Reid / Pelosi.
I guess we'll wait and see, Right? Powell endorsement will not influence my vote. Nobody, nobody.
