The directors of film festivals to create fair and balanced programs for their parties. Despite the quality of films, a festival with all film noir is not necessarily interesting as a festival of the masses, but it opens the door of opportunity for niche festivals. As a filmmaker, when I started to identify the top 10 festivals for black filmmakers, I could not locate any source ID list. Through my own experiences living and working in Los Angeles in the entertainment industry for over 12 years, was able to create my own list of 10 best film festivals for filmmakers black. You can narrow the list to 10 equal or greater importance, my list has resulted in 12 theaters him.
1. Black Film Festival of America
Originally called the Acapulco Film Festival, American Black Film Festival found its way to Los Angeles via Miami. Produced by Film Life, Inc., which also produces the Black Movie Awards, Latin Black Film Festival is the most elegant Black Film Festival full of starry black independent films of the studio system.

2. Pan African Film & Arts Festival in Los Angeles
With an attendance of over 200,000 people for the film festival and the arts, PAFF is the largest and one of the festivals world's most prestigious black. Each year PAFF screens over 150 films in the United States, Africa, the Caribbean, South America, South Pacific, Europe and Canada.

8. Urban Film Series
The film series on the city is not a film festival, but rather a film screening and discussion series.
