The opening hallucinatory vision credits this to say: "Inspired by the music and many lives of Bob Dylan." Do not try to decipher the enigma of Bob Dylan. Instead, it leads in an elliptical, jigsaw puzzle of a difficult journey. That leaves us speechless. Embraces with open arms on this icon for a generation and time, with all its myths and paradoxes.
The director Todd Haynes rightly perceives that no matter who or what Dylan was. As an artist, we must not all, but his songs, distillation and chronicles the life and culture. Dylan's music permeates every inch this film, always hanging around like a ghost in the background … sometimes take over the stage and the driving time between the court, the intricate plots. Six players extremely talented get six different people to Bob Dylan, presenting a kaleidoscope of color and music, a partial picture, but a fascinating picture.
First the "fake" … Marcus Carl Franklin, a 12-year-old boy posing as Woodie Guthrie. Salta a train that runs through the pastoral lands of America, with his guitar. He shared jokes and tall tales, with two tramps, his fellow passengers in the car.
The following is a lean Rimabud Ben Whishaw Arthur, the "poet". He faces a jury question on his decision to stop writing poetry at age nineteen.
Christian Bale appears on the screen as Jack Rollins, the "prophet", fire and Troubadour intense awareness that could beat insightful 'songs fingerpoint "as tickertape. Seeming to disappear into oblivion when he loses his belief that can make a difference with a song.
Julianne Moore Fabian plays Alice, a thinly veiled version of the folk singer, Joan Baez. She can not help expressing his affection and admiration mixed regret. Heath Ledger as Robbie Clark enters the "Star of electricity." She plays the role of an actor who plays Jack Rollins in a film. Their love and the marriage disintegrates may or may not be reflecting the marriage of Sarah Lowndes Dylan.
Richard Gere enacts the role of "outside the law, Billy the Kid, not that he died from a shot at the hands of Pat Garrett … But the legend dodged the bullet and went to live in peace and Aging in the town of Riddle. This segment is a little confusing for the novice Dylan fan like me. But you can not resist this wave circus Felliniesque a sepia city, still standing in time.
Finally, Cate Blanchett … in the year lifespan, Dylan channeling the late 60s, ramp, dispose his followers to revolt against nature, the media and the idea of himself as a rebel.
