Does anybody know a good book by Clive Barker?
I saw a couple of his books in the library and wanted to read but never read and I do not want to buy one if I would be stupid. Have you read u? What were they and are they worth reading?

It has been 17 years since the immature movie Nightbreed Clive Barker's theaters honored. I remember like it was yesterday. It has been three years since its function Hellraiser director had terrorized the public to a new kind of horror film Nightbreed (based on the novel own Barker's Cabal) was a song of love for monster movies and all sorts going Bump in the Night is friend or foe. The only problem is that the studios have decided to promote the movie as a movie serial killer nixing most references to monsters in which he tried to rejoice.
Having read the original novel was based on before seeing the film, I knew Barker bring a new dimension to his own material, as he had done with Hellraiser (which is based on his novel The Hellbound Heart). He brought a vision that was so original that the studio bosses did not know how to react. There had never been a horror movie where the monsters and creatures of the night, the heroes and humans are the real monsters.
The film follows Aaron Boone (Craig Sheffer), who cares about the nightmares about strange creatures, a place called Midian. When he told his therapist, Dr. Philip world Decker (David Cronenberg) Boone is upset and reveals Decker May that be the man responsible for a wave of death lately in the community. Do not find comfort with his girlfriend Lori (Anne Bobby), Boone companies to seek the Midianites, but discovers that the place is actually a cemetery where Nightbreed live hidden from the world above.
Boone discovers the truth, he is not responsible the death of innocent people Decker, but your doctor can not tell anyone as it is shot as if he were the murderer. Decker, whereas it has closed the book Boone, early Boone discovers that not really dead, but became one of the Nightbreed itself. By revealing the nature of psychopathy Nightbreed Decker, Boone also because the race in great danger, as Decker is now your mission to destroy all races, regardless of where they try to hide. Marginalized in the race itself, Boone must find its place in the world by Decker, arrived to destroy everything he believes in
Nightbreed was a movie of emergency in 1990 and is still the creature and offset the effects are some of the best ever designed for a movie monster No other filmmaker has dared venture into the world of monsters charities in scope than the writer / director of Barker made with this film. It is unfortunate that the film is almost forgotten, except for diehard fans Barker and sex enthusiast.
Barker has created an original film that had never mingled with such success that many elements of fantasy in a film of terror. It would be another five years until Barker Director queen took again to the Lord of Illusion, another story that mixes fantasy and magic world of terror, to venture into areas as the narrative never before attempted, and even more rarely achieved in Barker is in fact a single narrator in the film ever be forgotten, but is risen the dead (as in Boone and Nightbreed Nix and Philip Swann in the Lord of Illusion) and enjoyed each new generation.
