Fernando Botero is my hero! I studied at school and fell in love with your work! He worked very hard against the circumstances! I loved the work he did in his early years I also the fact that you get both with a plastic leg, its so inspiring. LFOR expecially me with some plasitic lik a leg:
The sculpture park
Over 35 authors are displayed there, with more than 190 major works, 160 of whom are Bulgarian artists. Some works were created specifically to hold a special place in the park and size depending on the specific features of the landscape. The park has sculptures by Anish Kapoor, Delvoye, Panamarenko, Fernando Botero and Arno Breker and the works of many famous artists in Bulgaria, as Pavel Koichev, Emil Popov, Valentin Starchev Damianov Krum, Lubomir Dalchev, NIKoil Shmirgela and several others.
Artists
Vivid and works original by leading figures in the art of Bulgaria, Svetlin Rusev, Stanislav Pamukchiev, Milko Bozhkov, Atanas Iaranov or sculptors Damianov Krum, Pavel Koichev, Emil Popov and Nikolai Shmirgela appear alongside the works of Auguste Rodin, Rik Wouters, Ossip Tsatkin, Alberto Giacometti, Arno Breker, Fernando Botero, Anish Kapoor, Wim Delvoye, Panamarenko, Christo and Jean-Claude, Thomas Schütte, Robert Longo, etc. To Western audiences, this meeting with an unknown region of Europe, art is a real discovery. Also more than 500 paintings stored in the house.
The Museum
Early 2010, the private museum of Herentals Hugo Voeten Art Center opens its doors in a former industrial building in the 1930s, entirely renovated to meet the needs of the center. The spacious galleries are found in all the 4-storey building will house the collection of Mr. Hugo Voeten tables, graphs and sculptures. There will be separate sections for temporary exhibitions. A large park in front of building will be used for outdoor exhibitions. The building will also concert halls, conference and meeting rooms, gift shop and restaurant.
The aim of the museum is to present and promote art Contemporary. Priority areas include active dialogue with the public, including software development art for children and students, Conferences on topics related to the program of exhibitions, organization of a residency program for young artists from around the world, working with clients, curators, etc.
