Most often, the gems are valued only for their aesthetic value, but in reality, its real beauty comes from deeper levels hidden for sealing, within each gemstone is a story of epic proportions that spans the eons, forgotten peoples and lost civilizations.

9,000 years before the birth of Christ, mankind took its first steps to an organized society. The cradle of the first crop Neolithic was "The Fertile Crescent," a name given to a territory covering an area stretching from the shores of the eastern Mediterranean to the Gulf Persian. The "area of the Fertile Crescent" includes countries that are now called Egypt, Israel, Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Kuwait, Turkey and Iran, these countries were Iran, known as Persia until 1935, which was to have the greatest impact on world cultures spanning a calendar from 3200 BC to 1935 CE (Common Era), a total of more than 5000 years.

The Persian Empire reached its apogee with the Dynasty Achaemenid. At its peak, the Achaemenid dynasty, lasting from 550 to 330 BC, stretched from the Indus Valley, in what is now Pakistan, on the banks of the Danube in Europe. Founded by Cyrus the Great, the Achaemenid dynasty, including a royal line that infamous XER, notorious for its battle with the 300 Spartans and Darius, who met his fate in the hands of Alexander the Great. In the center of the Achaemenid dynasty were the cities of Babylon and Susa, the latter is mentioned in the biblical book of Esther as "Sushan.

Among oldest cities in the world who suffer from EC 5000 AC 650, Shushan was chosen as the capital of the Achaemenid dynasty, due to its location on the roads trade of Persia, Mesopotamia and Asia Minor. Under Cyrus the Great, Susa became head of the Treasury of the dynasty, one of the shops and the strongest richest in the known world, even ahead of Babylon, in its magnificence. Susa was the center of the Achaemenid dynasty, which acts as a clearinghouse important until the third century BC, when it fell to Alexander the Great and the subsequent births and Sassanid empires. In 638 CE, the city fell to the Islamic conquest of Persia and its importance decreases in traffic. Suse has managed to survive as a city until it was finally destroyed by the Mongols, the Turks in 1218 CE, after which it was abandoned.

Susa, reclaimed by the desert sands was in ruins, lost for over 600 years. However, in 1897 during excavations at Susa were made by the French anthropologist Jacques de Morgan. In February 1901, Morgan discovered what appeared to be an Achaemenid royal tomb dating from 350 BC C. From Indeed, the real figure was enclosed in the coffin of a young woman, an Achaemenid princess. The body was lying and decorated with lots of gold jewelry and precious stones Precious ornaments. Among the various jewels, one stood out from the rest, a string of pearls or more precisely one of the pearls of coal.

The Pearl Necklace Susa consists of 3 rows of 72 balls each. When Jacques de Morgan discovered the necklace was in a state of disrepair with many Late on contact when they were transferred from the grave. Morgan believes that the "string of pearls necklace dog", originally included between four and five hundred pearls. Although the pearls had suffered, the creation and installation of the ring was relatively intact. All 216 survivors pearls interspersed, and joined with a gold inlaid stone quality results valuable rails. There were ten gold bars in the profile total, each consisting of three bars Small discs of about five millimeters in diameter. Saithe are separated into nine divisions pearl equidistant the end of each end of the collar there is a greater ten millimeter disc for attaching three strands of pearls.

The necklace of real pearls, origin Arabic was made with brass wire. The design necklace of pearls, the Syrian style, is the oldest of its kind in the world today and is exposed in the Persian Gallery of the Louvre Museum in Paris.

"About Jacques Louis David's Oath of Horatti."?

I have a task about this photo, but I have no idea about the answer to these questions. * Crying * plz help me out … – What shape is the result of implied lines? – What is the focal point or summit this work? – Is this policy in France? (I think not.) – What are the leaders of France were at war with each other during this time? I have no idea Focal Point and the lines implied. I tried to watch the table for consideration, but it was too difficult to understand for me, cuz im International (India here .. since 3 months.) Please help me, it would be very grateful for that. , _; Thank you.

Form: The table is divided into three sections through the arches in the background. You can see that the hollow arches coincide with the three groups. On the left are the 3 brothers in the middle is father, and the right are the mother and sisters. You'll also notice that there is a contrast between men and women: men are more rigid, while women fell. – Apex: because the painting is divided into three, the father is the natural top center. Attention is also drawn to the use diagonals (ie, arms brothers lead the viewer to the center). – Politics: suspect it might be on French politics since he was painted for a few years just before the Revolution, when there were certainly a lot of tension. – Two rules: I would say that King Louis XVI and Robespierre (a Leader of the Revolution). The table refers to a 7th century war between two families, the Horatii. But because both families were united in marriage, both sides are lost in a sense what happens. I think that in the allegorical context, the Horatii representing two factions of France at the time, namely, the royalists and revolutionaries. Regardless of who won, what would the benefits and consequences of anyway.

Jacques-Louis David (1748-1825) was the most important European artist in a period of extraordinary upheaval. A participant in the French Revolution, he then witnessed the rise and fall of Napoleon Bonaparte. A revolutionary in both art and life, David took painting away from the frivolity of the Rococo towards the dramatic moral force of neoclassicism. Passionate, intense, fiercely ambitious and …
