When planning a trip to Alaska, the main activities always involve the outdoors. This is completely natural and sets out in much of Alaska. However, there is a cultural heartbeat of the earth also, and many Alaska Natives who were born here or moved here after falling in love with the place, trying to communicate the call of the earth through art. With a large number of tourists traveling through each summer, many artists from Alaska are able to undertake their work, and long winters enable effective concentration efforts. The result is a fantastic leader.
There are a surprising number of art galleries in Alaska, given the small population. Of course, the explosion of visitors in summer helps to explain why. Most can be found in the large cities, although some are in locations Popular tourist, or small communities. Depending on your taste, here are some of the best:

Alaska is a place that creates and attracts artists. Can partly be due to the mystique of the north, an arid land is overwhelming and reminds us of our mortality. It may also be because the winters are very long, and allow time to reflect and an opportunity to improve their own business. For some, this may be due to the growing sense of isolation, living in one of the last frontiers of the world. Anyway, art galleries in Alaska are an opportunity for foreigners to see the result end of this undercurrent of creativity that runs through this incredible country.
