Question: I bought two limited edition prints of a virtual art gallery, and that the gallery hopes to provide "certificates of authenticity" art. In both cases, art is sent, but no certificates. A: To begin, there are tremendous abuses "certificate of authenticity "COA or business, especially in online auctions. Certificates of authenticity are often problematic and some may even be worthless. Many people believe that art with a certificate of authenticity is automatically true, but it is not necessarily the case. For starters, there are laws that govern it or not qualified to write certificates of authenticity, or what kind of statements, information or documentation should include a certificate of authenticity. In other words, anyone can write a COA if they are qualified or not. And if that is not enough, unscrupulous sellers can and aims to establish official certificates of authenticity and used to sell counterfeit products, either directly or distort existing artworks as more important or valuable than they are really. And to make matters worse, meaning the COA has been issued for decades, a certificate of authenticity dated 1955, for example, perhaps more sense than a letter today.
Your situation is worrying because the seller would have said that art had the certificates of authenticity, but not send them to art. It is further complicated by the fact that the seller promised to send them, but did not. Best procedure for you is to try to recover your money and buy elsewhere. Note that if a work of art is supposed with a certificate authenticity, the certificate must accompany the art when it arrives.

* When the contact information in a certificate of authenticity is no longer valid or expired, please contact a current power about the artist. Determine if the old certificate of authorship of a legitimate authority and is sufficient proof that the art is authentic.
* A statement that a true work of art is valid only if made by a respected authority about the artist. Qualifications This person must be indicated on the certificate.
