What war you ask? All these artists have become well established before the First World War. Post a half of war after the war. American artists known after the First World War and before World War II, Georgia O'Keeffe, Edward Hopper, Thomas Hart Benton and Maxfield Parrish. George Bellows could easily be on this list because their sport has become very famous paintings during this time. If this is the second world war that is to pose the answer should be Jackson Pollock or Andy Warhol. Cape Ann is a rocky peninsula in northern Massachusetts, the Atlantic Ocean. The layer is located about 30 miles north of Boston, and is the north end of Massachusetts Bay. Cape Ann includes the cities of Gloucester, Essex, Manchester-by-the-Sea, and Rockport, but the city of Gloucester, who constitutes the bulk of the layer. Gloucester is the oldest of America's Port. Gloucester is one of the best harbors and ports busiest fishing. It has a rich history, natural beauty, incredible beaches, fresh seafood and water activities such as whale watching excursion. Two of the most former colonies of artists in the United States are Cape Ann, a colony of rock art in the neck of Gloucester and Bearskin Neck in Rockport.
Cape Ann is a Mecca for artists and art lovers worldwide. Cape Ann has inspired art and artists with an amazing diversity of styles. Cape Ann is a point of pilgrimage for artists to watch, but during the next one hundred years has become an attraction for artists. If it's Impressionist and modern art Cape Ann was an artist who could not resist the attraction. To mention just some few American artists of the mid century nineteenth far, Fitz Hugh Lane, Francisco Silva, Winslow Homer, John Twachtman, Childe Hassam, Edward Potthast, Edward Hopper, Stuart Davis, Marsden Hartley and Mark Rothko. These artists have been attracted to Cape Ann for its majestic landscapes, beaches of fine sand, granite quarries, old ships and green forests the region and how the color has changed the nature of the long season. Cape Ann art not only housing painters, but also other artists such as jewelry designers, potters, sculptures and photographers.
