"The theme of Disneyland California Sur is a place to take pictures of the old West?
You know those places where you can take a picture where perfesional dress all of the Old West and take photos of the day? Have one to Disneyland (in California) or Knotts Berry Farm is that?
Disneyland No offers "Old West" photos. They did, however, PhotoPass offers. With PhotoPass, Disney photographers are around the park and can take your photo for you. It gives you a map so you can see the photos online, edit and even make complete albums. The best part is not without problems to take a picture, you stand there stand and smile and hope to come to them to you. I hate when you go to Six Flags and treated coral for a photo enforced. Knotts Berry Farm continues to offer the "Old West" photos. My wife and I have for years and he still cracks us up!
Somerset West, home to a number of wineries, is one of the most beautiful and popular Western Cape. While in the region to absorb the natural beauty certainly want to travel at least some of the wineries in the region and taste some great wines produced here.
Franschhoek is considered one of the regions first winery in the world. The fertile land of this region was first used by French wine producers, there are some 300 years. Today, the noble tradition first begun by the Huguenots continued. There are more than twenty farms vines in the region, many of which are considered among the most respected in South Africa. Look good while whites like Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc and Semillon of reds such as Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Most farms welcome visitors to enjoy wine tastings.
Vinters Paarl is another area that is well worth exploring if you're a wine lover. The wines produced in this region are predominantly red and the area is known as the Red Road. Some of the best red wines in the world are produced here due to ideal soil, microclimates and the traditional red.
While Wine is certainly an important part of the local area, there are also many other activities and places to enjoy while in Somerset West. An evening at Schreuderhuis, a museum of the village of straw, which represents some of the major stylistic periods covering the last three centuries. The museum was actually one the first twelve houses to form when he established the colony of pioneers. Step back in time until the eve of the French Revolution, while admire the neo-classical, and even a Victorian home, typical of the late 19th century. A toy and Miniature Museum is also on site and deserves a visit for both young and old alike.
Botanic Gardens are also a must, located in the gardens of the oldest university in Africa South. Indigenous and exotic plants are inside the museum, ranging from herbs and desert plants to orchids and lilies. Many plants are found in gardens are very rare, if not trouble to go through in Somerset West.
Finally, be sure to stop by The oldest farm in the Cape, Groot Constantia. The manor was originally allocated to Governor Simon van der Stel in 1685. Today, depicting daily life the 19th century. Its collections include Delft pottery and traditional Cape furniture mid 18th century. Drinking and storage tanks in a variety materials dating from 500 BC are listed in the Wine Museum.
